PRIVACY POLICY - KOREA VIBE CO., LTD.

Korea Vibe Co., Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us", "our") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in strict compliance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of the Republic of Korea to protect the personal information of users of koreavibe.kr ("Website") and swiftly resolve any related grievances.

ARTICLE 1. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Company processes personal data exclusively for the following specified purposes:

  • Travel Inquiries & Booking Execution: Administering bespoke private tours, VIP concierge itineraries, cruise shore excursions, corporate delegations, and MICE events in South Korea.
  • Contract Fulfillment & Logistics: Arranging luxury ground transport, assigning licensed multilingual guides, booking hotels, purchasing tickets, and coordinating airport receptions.
  • Entry Facilitation: Issuing travel vouchers/confirmations for visa applications and advising on Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) requirements.
  • Medical Tourism Coordination: Arranging clinical appointments and certified medical interpreters with partner healthcare institutions as a licensed International Patient Facilitator.
  • Invoicing, Payments & Customer Support: Processing invoices, managing payments, resolving customer complaints, and providing 24/7 concierge assistance.

ARTICLE 2. ITEMS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION PROCESSED

  • Mandatory Collected Information: Full legal name (passport Latin & native script), nationality, date of birth, gender, passport number (essential for passenger manifests, domestic flights, hotel registrations, and attraction bookings); contact details (phone, WhatsApp, Telegram, email); flight logistics data; hotel accommodations in South Korea.
  • Medical Concierge Clients (Only upon explicit request and consent): Desired medical specialty/treatment inquiry, basic non-sensitive medical details necessary for clinic appointment scheduling.
  • Automatically Collected Technical Data: IP address, cookies, access timestamps, browser specifications, and usage logs.

ARTICLE 3. RETENTION AND PROCESSING PERIOD

Personal data is retained only for the duration necessary to deliver the contracted travel services and settle accounts, after which it is destroyed without delay. In accordance with South Korean statutory laws:

  • Records on contracts or withdrawal of offers: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
  • Records on payment and supply of services: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
  • Records on consumer complaints or dispute settlement: 3 years
  • Foreign patient facilitation statutory records: 3 years (Medical Overseas Expansion Act)
  • Website visit logs: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

ARTICLE 4. DATA SECURITY SAFEGUARDS & THIRD PARTIES

The Company implements robust administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (SSL/TLS encryption, restricted access, secure facilities). Data is shared only with verified suppliers strictly necessary for itinerary execution (hotels, transport drivers, medical clinics, insurers upon request).
